The Vibram® alpine outsoles in solid rubber carry the classic deep-cleated mountain tread, built for grip on rock, mud and rough ground — with a 3cm heel and 1.5cm toe height. Made with a Strobel construction — the upper stitched directly to a soft textile base, with the sole bonded underneath — they stay light and flexible at just 1.1kg for the pair (size 42).
The supportive D-ring lacing system, with gold-tone metal D-rings in 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy), laces quickly and holds its tension, so you can easily adjust the fit and it stays put over long distances. A high shaft and padded ankle collar keep the fit secure and stable on the trail.
They're fully waterproof to the lace line, with a PFC-free Sympatex® membrane and a sealed tongue keeping the wet out — so snow, slush, rain, long wet grass, puddles and streams are no problem, as long as the water stays below the lacing. Your feet are kept warm in freezing conditions with PrimaLoft® insulation made with 90% recycled content and a thick, cream soft vegan fur lining (100% recycled polyester) running all the way down to your toes.
The uppers are onMicro® waterproof vegan leather (100% PU) — a breathable, PFC-free microfibre made in Spain by Grupo Morón. Underfoot, removable contoured PU sports insoles follow the shape of your foot for cushioned, supportive comfort.

Habe die Wanderschuhe eine Nummer größer bestellt, damit noch etwas Luft für dicke Socken bleibt. Jedoch ist das Futter so warm und dick, dass man keine dicken Socken braucht und auch gar nicht so viel Platz dafür wäre. Würde tendenziell empfehlen die Schuhe eine Nummer größer zu bestellen insbesondere, wenn man sie auch wirklich zum Wandern nutzen möchte. (Sie werden vorn etwas schmal.) Ich persönliche nutze die WV Sport Wanderschuhe fürs Gelände und diese hier für den urbanen Alltag in Schweden. Mir gefällt besonders das zeitlose, klassisch traditionelle Design. Wir haben viel Eis und Schnee, dafür sind diese Schuhe ideal.
I do a lot of walking/hiking under all conditions, and until I discovered Will's Vegan Shoes I never found walking shoes that held up. These boots are comfortable, durable, and look lovely. Very pleased.

Absolutely love these boots. They are really warm and look very stylish. I had a slight rubbing on one heel the first couple of times I wore them but easily solved with a plaster and now they are so comfortable. Definitely waterproof. Please do them in other colours, I'd buy them all
