Keep toasty warm and cosy with our insulated Vegan Wool Hooded Coat. Tailored in Italy from “vegan wool” made from Greenpeace DETOX & Oeko Tex® standard 100 certified cotton (certificate 1108929.0).
To keep you warm there is a 60g thermal insulated lining made in Italy from 100% recycled polyester (100% RPU certified to ISO 14021:2016, Oeko Tex® standard 100 certificate 960031.0). It’s loose cut makes it perfect for winter layering over one of our chunky knits. Pull the oversized hood over your head to protect from the wind, rain and those super chilly days.
The front of the jacket is fastened with an Italian aluminium zipper that travels above your neck keeping you protected from the elements. You can put your carry essentials into the two deep slip pockets fastened with metal poppers. The Italian made REACH certified viscose lining ensures easy layering.
Like everything we make & do, our clothing is certified Carbon Neutral. There is no packaging waste, we only use biodegradable plastic free packaging from the paper bags to the paper tape we use to seal them.

- Showerproof rather than waterproof. The dense cotton-blend face will hold off light rain for a short while, but it soaks through in sustained or heavy wet and takes time to dry. Best with an umbrella in proper rain
- Insulation
- 60g thermal lining made from 100% recycled polyester, working with the weight of the outer cloth to keep the coat warm (100% rPET certified to ISO 14021:2016, Oeko Tex® standard 100 certificate 960031.0)

Writing this review to perhaps help others. This coat runs huge - fit seems to be a little bit squirrely in general. I am a size 40 coat in the US - according to the chart, would be a large. I had to exchange it for a small. The large was comically big. For reference, I am 6'1 and about 160 lbs. In a large, I resembled a toddler wearing his father's coat.
All that said, I do like the style and the material and glad I finally got the right size. Thank you to WVS for being accommodating and helpful with an exchange.
