First of all, I have Roman foot type and those shoes are very comfy. I had a lot of trouble finding waterproof THAT comfortable.
I don't know if my shoes are defective but they are NOT 100% waterproof. The tip of my big toe got A LITTLE BIT wet when it's heavily raining. It's not a big deal though. Still the only "disappointment" I have. I would still buy those again.
