The Smart Sneaker is the one that goes with everything — a clean, minimal low-top cut close to the foot, the kind you can wear with tailoring on a Friday or jeans at the weekend and never look overdressed or under.
The uppers are our Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials) in a smooth, unfussy finish — no logos shouting, no busy panels, just clean lines that keep them looking sharp. The lacing runs through metal eyelets in 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy), tipped to match, and the leather wipes clean and holds up to daily wear.
They sit on a cupsole with a white sidewall and a warm gum outsole underneath — grippy where it counts, smart where it shows — with a low 2.5cm profile front and back that keeps the silhouette sleek rather than chunky. Inside, grey woven Tencel™ linings are soft against the foot, breathable and moisture-wicking to keep your feet cool and fresh, sockless or not, and cushioned layered insoles pair soft memory foam over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) for all-day comfort.
This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

- Construction
- Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
- Water Resistance
- Water-resistant for everyday wear – keeps you dry in rain, puddles, wet streets, and most winter conditions. Just avoid heavy saturation or full submersion.

I've had these shoes since November, and by May the heels completely fell apart. I'm hoping that similar reviews and complaints have resulted in a change in assembly because I'd appreciate a replacement pair...but not if they're going to end up like these have done. I really love these shoes and I'm still wearing them but every time I look at them I get so disappointed.

The overall shoe is rather strong. The big problem is in the lining. The thin lining got all ripped apart after 2 months. The issue is that this lining is visible from outside around all the upper edges. Had to stop wearing the shoes when going outside or meeting people.

I got these shoes despite some negative reviews regarding how uncomfortable they are. They are really are uncomfortable to an extent that they make the back of foot/ankle area bleed if you are not wearing really thick socks. I don’t think these shoes were properly tested before getting released. Hope they can do better in the future

I loved these shoes so much, I wore them thousands of times till they started to break up. They went well with absolutely everything.
The quality is top notch, they are very comfortable and look awesome nothing to complain about. The only thing is I typically am a 10.5 size shoe. So per their recommendation I sized up, and I feel like those 11 are gigantic. Unsure about whether 10 would have been large enough, but I wish they had half-sizes.
Update from 5 stars to 1 stars. I haven't had these shoes for very long, and did not wear them at any point during the winter, and they are already looking incredibly damaged at the heel. I bought these specifically because I was environmentally conscious, and wanted a long-lasting shoe that I could wear and buy the same pair every couple of years or however long they last. Did not expect them to look like this after around 6 months of wearing them. Extremely disappointed.
