Three panels of soft Italian vegan nubuck, seamed around the last so the stitching does the work hardware does elsewhere. The seams sweep down from the ankle through the quarter and give the boot its shape from the outside in — a clean pull-on bootie with nothing on it to catch the eye but its own construction. Our vegan nubuck has a dry, matt grain, so the black stays soft rather than glossy and the light falls across the panels instead of bouncing off them.
It sits just above the ankle, the top edge turned over and finished flat, with a little ease through the circumference — close without gripping. Underneath, a slim TR outsole and a 3.5cm heel in compressed Tunit — a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound — with a stacked, wood-effect finish, enough to lift the line of the boot without changing how you walk in it. A WVS emboss sits on the outsole.
Portuguese vegan suede lines it through, over a cushioned layered insole — memory foam over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU). It's a boot that goes under a trouser leg and stays there all season: pleated tailoring, slim dark denim, a dress with opaque tights. Quiet, black, and easy to keep on from morning through to evening.

- Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) – soft and comfortable against the foot, with a breathable suede texture that helps keep feet fresh

- Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
- Outsole
- Slim TR outsole with a compressed Tunit heel (a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound) with a classic stacked finish, and a TR grip layer underneath.
- Shank
- Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
- Construction
- Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
- Water Resistance
- Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

I love the softness of these boots, which are easy to pull on. I just find the soles to be a little heavy, which means that the feet slip out slightly when walking. If there were a way to make lighter soles, I would gladly give 5 stars to these boots!
I ordered these in size 38 together with the Heeled Knee High Boots (in Brown), also size 38. In most shoes, I have a size 37, but seeing the measurements made me opt for 38. The knee high boots were a good fit. I still put in an additional insole (Guppyfriend), but even without it was okay. These slip-ons, however, felt like they would slip off. I just did a few steps in the house, because I felt I'd have to return them. Even with the first step they felt like they were not going to stay on my feet. It's a shame, they're probably just not for me. I do have a high instep and a high arch, maybe that's the reason. They looked nice, though. Also not too high, which I like in a heel.

Lovely boots.
However, for me not the best fit. ): they’re pretty small at the front, my toes get squeezed quite. At the back (heel) it is a bit wide, what makes my foot almost to slip out sometimes. Hard to wear warm socks in these boots.
And be careful with the ‘suede’, it is easy to damage.
It’s too bad I experience the shoes to be like this, I really like how they look and wish they could fit me well😞
