The Reporter's Bag is cut soft and square, so it sits flat against the body when it's light and opens out as you fill it. The webbing strap adjusts and wears it over the shoulder or across the body, and where it crosses the shoulder there's a padded pad backed in vegan suede, soft against you and wide enough to spread the weight comfortably. Pick what the day needs, a notebook, a camera, a pair of over-ear headphones, a water bottle, and it takes the lot; the shape means you can reach into it without taking it off.
Two magnetic snaps hold the flap down, set into the underside so nothing breaks the line of the front. Press the flap and they catch on their own; lift it and they let go with a light pull, so you can get in and out one-handed while the bag is still on your shoulder. There's no buckle to work, which is what makes this one quick. A zip runs the width of the back pocket for the things you want without opening the flap.
It's cut in our signature Italian bio-based vegan leather with a pebble grain, and lined in vegan suede, soft to the hand with a light grain.

Body: Italian bio-based vegan leather with 62–66% plant-origin renewable materials. Bio-based polyurethane surface on a viscose backing, made in Italy using water-based, solvent-free processes.

- Construction
- Cut and closed by hand, with the panels turned and stitched rather than bonded, so the seams carry the load and the edges are finished on the inside. The sides fold in rather than being set on a rigid gusset, so the bag sits flat against the body when it's light and opens out as you fill it. Straps and fittings are set on their own reinforced patches, so the pull spreads into the panel instead of into a single line of stitching
- Water Resistance
- Water-resistant. The vegan leather surface sheds rain rather than soaking it up, so a shower on the way to the station wipes off with a cloth. The stitching and the zips aren't sealed, and the flap isn't a closed seal, so it isn't waterproof and shouldn't be left out in sustained rain or set down on wet ground
- Closure
- Adjustable buckled strap with concealed magnetic fastening. Set the buckle once at the holes that suit you and leave it there, then lift the flap and the magnet releases with a light pull. Press it back down and it will seal shut on its own.
