We spent a long time finding the right recycled vegan shearling to make our Recycled Teddy Coat, and found it in Italy, made from 100% recycled polyester (rPET). It's deep, cosy and soft, perfect for snuggling up to and wrapping around you to keep warm, and because the pile itself is the coat there's warmth in it without anything else added.
It's cut single-breasted and long, falling past the knee, with notched lapels that turn up at the neck and a straight line through the body. The front fastens with three matt-finish buttons and there are two patch pockets at the hip. The viscose lining is super smooth, making it easy to slip this on over layers.
Finished with WVS labelling and an embroidered cotton hang loop.
Wear it over a cream roll-neck with blue denim and brown boots, or over a black knit with dark trousers and ankle boots. It also works over a midi dress with tall boots, the length of the coat carrying past the hem. The tan sits well with brown, cream and denim, so keep what's underneath in that register and let the texture lead.
