Recycled Tailored Knit Crew

A crew-neck knitted in a fine gauge and cut close to the body, so it layers under a jacket or a coat without adding anything at the shoulder or the waist. The neck sits neat against the throat in a narrow rib, and the sleeves are raglan, cut lean, with the seam running clean from the collar to the underarm. The face of the knit is smooth and dense, which is what lets it sit flat under tailoring and hold a sharp line across the chest.

It's made from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content: offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing and recycled plastic bottles, spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It's knitted in small batches in a family-owned factory in Tuscany. Ribbing at the cuffs and hem holds the shape at the edges.

Wear it under a blazer with tailored trousers and derbies, or on its own with straight denim and boots. It also works over a shirt with the collar out and the sleeves pushed back.
