Recycled Roll Neck

A roll neck with a wide, soft collar that folds over rather than standing tight against the throat, so there's warmth at the neck without anything gripping. The knit is a fine gauge with a subtle horizontal texture running through it and a marled yarn that gives the grey some depth, and it's cut with a little room through the body for a relaxed fit that stays light to wear.

It's made from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content: offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing and recycled plastic bottles, spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It's knitted in small batches in a family-owned factory in Tuscany. Deep ribbing runs at the cuffs and hem, holding the shape at the edges.

Wear it with straight jeans turned up and brown work boots, or with tailored trousers and loafers for something cleaner. It also goes under a pea coat or a long coat as a mid-layer through winter, the collar sitting above the lapel. In grey marl it takes almost any colour, so what you put with it leads.
