Recycled Knit Sweater

A crew-neck sweater knitted in a fine gauge, cut with a little room through the body and the sleeve so it layers cleanly without bulk. There's a stitched V at the throat below the ribbed neck, the detail carried over from a classic sweatshirt, and the knit has a fine even grain that keeps the surface from reading flat.

It's made from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content: offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing and recycled plastic bottles, spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It's knitted in small batches in a family-owned factory in Tuscany. Ribbing at the cuffs and hem holds the shape at the edges.

Wear it over a white tee with olive chinos and trainers, or over a collared shirt with the collar out and straight jeans. Under a bomber or a pea coat it works as a mid-layer through the colder months. In grey-blue it takes almost anything, so what you put with it leads.
