Our Notes

An elegant, leg-lengthening ankle boot: a fine tapered point at one end, a 7.5cm block heel at the other, and a shaft cut low enough to leave the line of the foot showing. The topline dips through the sides so the leg carries on into the boot rather than stopping at it, and a curved seam sweeps over the quarter, following the line rather than breaking it. It's cut in Italian vegan nubuck, which has a soft hand feel and a nap that moves as it's brushed — the surface shifts tone as it catches the light, giving a shape this sharp a warmth to it.

The heel is squared and kept broad through the base, so the height sits under you rather than in front of you. It's compressed Tunit — a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound — with a stacked finish, set on a slim TR outsole that holds the profile narrow. The zip runs the inside seam in a gunmetal tone rather than silver, which is the right call on a boot that doesn't want hardware showing.

Portuguese vegan suede lines it in a warm tan that shows at the opening against the black, over a cushioned layered insole — memory foam over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU). This is the dressiest of the ankle boots: cropped tailored trousers finishing above the shaft, leather-look leggings, a midi skirt with the toe just visible. Worn tonally it disappears into the leg; against anything lighter, the point does the work on its own.

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Upper: Italian vegan nubuck (100% PU) – one of the finest vegan suedes you can get, Ecolabel certified with a soft, luxurious feel
Lining: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) – soft and comfortable against the foot, with a breathable suede texture that helps keep feet fresh
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: Slim TR outsole with a compressed Tunit heel (a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound) in a classic stacked finish, with a TR grip layer underneath.

Construction & Features

Shank: Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
Hardware: Inner side zip with a gunmetal-tone finish for easy on and off.
Construction: Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
Water Resistance: Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Care Guide

Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards.Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish.Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again.Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodoriser again.Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant.

Fit and comfort notes:

Width and volume: our footwear is designed with a slightly wider D width fitting, offering more width and volume than most brands.
Materials: we use high quality vegan leather and suede. These materials are stable and won't stretch out significantly over time, so we recommend sizing up for comfort.
The perfect fit: you don't want the shoes to pinch your feet. You should have wiggle room for your toes and no rub points.
Feel: in most cases you'll find our footwear is comfy straight out of the box. Depending on the style or your foot shape, it can sometimes take a few wears for the uppers to soften and mould to your feet.

Stand on a hard surface with your heel against a wall.
Measure your foot from the heel (the wall) to the longest point of your toes.
Use this number to find your size in the chart above.

It is helpful to measure both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other. Always choose the size that accommodates your longest foot.
