We designed our Luxe Deep Tread Chelsea Boots to be the rugged take on the silhouette — the same clean-lined Chelsea as our Luxe Smart version, set on a chunky deep-tread sole for extra grip and presence.
The uppers are cut from our Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials) with a classic round toe. The boot opening comfortably hugs the ankle thanks to the cut of the uppers and the elasticated gussets on each side — a clean line with no gap, and nothing to fasten. A looped pull tab at the back gets them on in one motion.
Inside, Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) lines the boots — soft and comfortable against the foot, breathable to keep things fresh through the day. Underfoot, cushioned layered insoles pair a soft memory foam top layer with a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU).
The chunky, hard-wearing rubber outsoles, made with 10% recycled rubber, carry a deep lugged tread for serious grip — with a 3.5cm heel and 1.5cm toe height giving them a solid, planted stance.
They're water-resistant for everyday wear — rain, puddles and wet streets are no problem.
This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

- Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
- Water Resistance
- Water-resistant for everyday wear – keeps you dry in rain, puddles, wet streets, and most winter conditions. Just avoid heavy saturation or full submersion.

I love these boots - just the right amount of chunkiness to add an edge, but not too bulky for my larger feet (size 7.5). They go with everything! I would advise sizing down if you're between sizes - had to exchange my roomy 8s for a comfy 7.
