The Low Dock takes our Dock Boot and brings it down to chukka height — same tough, capable build, cut lower for lighter days and easier wearing. The proportions stay true to the original: chunky contrast stitching, a padded collar and tongue in a deeper tone cushioning the ankle, and that unmistakable work boot stance, just closer to the ground.
The uppers are Italian vegan nubuck (100% PU) — one of the finest vegan suedes you can get, Ecolabel certified to Oeko-Tex® 100 and REACH standards — with a soft, brushed nap that pairs handsomely with the contrast midsole stripe. The lacing runs through metal eyelets in 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy) with extra-strong laces in 100% recycled polyester, so they cinch up properly when the ground gets uneven.
Underfoot, the chunky TR outsole made with 10% recycled TR carries a deep lugged tread with grip for rough ground and long walks — mud, gravel, wet pavements, all in a day's work. These are the boots for dog walks and market mornings, for jeans rolled once at the ankle, for the months when the weather can't make its mind up — the Dock's toughness in a boot you'll reach for even more often.

- Long, extra-strong laces (100% recycled polyester), with metal lace tips (100% zamak — a durable zinc alloy)

- No shank – a soft, flexible build that moves with your feet

- Construction
- Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
- Water Resistance
- Vegan Leather – Water-resistant for everyday wear – keeps you dry in rain, puddles, wet streets, and most winter conditions. Just avoid heavy saturation or full submersion. | Vegan Suede – Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Disappointing as these are a small fit. You need to go up a half or maybe a full size if you plan to wear these during winter with a thicker sock or plan to use them for work as I did. Very uncomfortable standing and not suitable for walks or work due to short and narrow toe area and limited padding. Lovely look but poor design in terms of comfort, sizing and functionality.
In the past, I've ordered Wills in Euro size 39 (US 8), as per recommendation. For these boots I ordered the "US size 7.5/EU size 40" , size 7.5 being my normal size. They fit like a US 8.5 and when I just looked into Euro charts on sizing, a US 7.5 should be a Euro 38. So the size posted here is wrong. Additionally, these boots- in particular the right one- are incredibly squeaky. When I walk it sounds like I'm passing gas. I'm not sure of the procedure to return them since when I enter the item # and email on the return page I get a message there is no record of the order. Otherwise, the material and look are great.
They arrived super fast, they fit well in my usual size, although slightly more narrow than expected and they walk perfectly fine. I haven't tried them in a lot of rain yet or took anymore care of them than removing small scuff marks with a (pencil) eraser. I love them!
They fit perfectly, wore them all day the first time and rain doesn’t bother them. The excellent craftsmanship shows.
