Loafers

A loafer with nothing on it. No tassel, no bar, no hardware — just the shape of the shoe and the way it's put together.

Which means the stitching is what you look at. An apron seam runs round the front of the vamp and meets in a fine line down the centre of the toe, all of it hand stitched, and there's a second seam curving up each side where the quarters meet the vamp. The topline is scooped low at the sides, the toe rounds off softly, and the whole thing sits close and low on the foot. Italian vegan nubuck (100% PU) — one of the finest vegan suedes you can get, Ecolabel certified — with a nap that shifts as the light moves across it.

Underfoot, a 1cm heel — flat enough to be in all day, just enough to lift the line — over a durable, grippy TR outsole finished with a WVS emboss. A cushioned layered insole, soft memory foam over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU), so they stay comfortable through a long day rather than just a short one. Lined in soft Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU), comfortable against the foot and breathable with it. D width fitting, a slightly wider fit with more volume than standard.

Blue is the one that lifts an outfit without shouting. Cream or stone linen — wide trousers, a jacket, a bag in tan — and the blue sits at the bottom doing all the work. It's just as good with dark denim and a white shirt. Pink is the softer of the two and reads almost neutral: wear it with camel, ecru, grey, white, anything pale, and it disappears into the outfit in the best way.

Vegan suede isn't water-resistant, so keep these for dry days. It won't mark or spoil if it does get wet — just let them dry out naturally and brush the nap back up.
