High Heeled Cut Outs

An evening sandal built around a laser-cut motif — overlapping curved petals worked across the vamp and up the sides, so what would otherwise be a solid upper opens into scrollwork. At a distance it reads as pattern; close up you can see how the pieces have been cut to curl over one another, matte black against the smooth panels at the toe and heel counter. Two finishes of the same colour, playing off each other. The line is elegant and deliberately spare: a peep toe at the front, a zip at the back, a slim spike heel drawing everything down to a fine point.

The zip is functional rather than decorative, and it's what makes a shoe this shaped genuinely wearable — the back opens fully, so the foot goes in cleanly without forcing anything through the cut-work.

The upper is Italian vegan leather made with 62–66% plant-origin materials. Inside, a Portuguese vegan suede lining runs soft under the arch and heel, over a cushioned layered insole — memory foam on a recycled PU base with 20% recycled content. Underneath, a TR sole wrapped in vegan leather, with a 9cm spike heel finished with a replaceable cap. A 1cm platform sits under the forepart, quietly taking a centimetre off what the foot feels and shortening the pitch through the arch.

They ask for something plain and long beside them — a column dress, a narrow skirt, wide black trousers where the cut-work catches at the ankle as you walk. The shoe carries the detail, so nothing else has to.
