The long double-breasted overcoat is one of those shapes that never really leaves — it turns whatever's underneath into an outfit, and it looks as right over tailoring as it does over jeans. Ours is cut long and easy, black and quietly done, the sort of coat that does the work without asking for attention.
Tailored in Italy from vegan wool, a 100% cotton cloth with the weight and matt finish of a proper winter overcoat. It features a 60g thermal insulated lining made from 100% recycled polyester to keep you warm, while the loose, double-breasted silhouette and subtle shoulder padding — also 100% recycled polyester — give it a polished but comfortable fit. It falls straight from the shoulder and laps generously across the front, closing on four matt-finish buttons made from recycled compressed paper and resin.
Its loose cut makes it perfect for winter layering over one of our chunky knits — pop the lapels on those really chilly days. There are two deep slip pockets to put your hands in, and inside, a smooth 100% viscose lining lets the coat slip easily over your layers. Finished with WVS labelling and a hangtag made from recycled polyester.
Wear it the way it falls. Over slim or wide jeans and ankle boots for the everyday version, or a roll-neck and tailored trousers for something sharper. It sits long over a dress and tall boots, and it holds its own thrown over a jumper and trainers at the weekend. Black takes everything, so let whatever's underneath set the tone — the coat just frames it.
