The 14 Inch Classic Briefcase is the satchel shape cut large, with the room for a laptop, a journal, a couple of books, pens, a camera and whatever else the day needs, and it carries two ways: the top handle for the walk in, or the strap clipped on to wear over the shoulder or across the body when your hands are full. The strap adjusts and comes off, so the bag reads as a briefcase when you want it to and as a satchel when you don't.
Inside it takes a 13 inch laptop, an A4 notebook or a hardback flat, with the depth for an umbrella and the day's paperwork alongside. A front pocket under the flap holds a phone, keys, pens or a paperback where you can reach them, with the flap coming down over it so nothing works its way out.
Two buckled straps hold the flap down across the front, running from the top edge to buckles set low on the body. It's cut in our signature Italian bio-based vegan leather and lined in vegan suede, soft to the hand with a light grain, and the gusset is set in as a separate piece, which gives it its depth and lets it stand up on its own rather than collapsing flat when it's empty.
