The Billfold Coin Wallet does everything in one piece. Three card slots, each built to hold three cards, so it takes nine without stretching, plus a large multipurpose pocket and a coin compartment behind a snap fastening. The billfold section is doubled, so notes can go in two places and be cut long enough for UK, EU and US bills, which means nothing needs folding down to fit. It's the one to reach for when you'd rather carry a single thing and have everything in it.
It's cut in our signature Italian bio-based vegan leather with its soft natural grain and lined in soft vegan suede, with the interior running a shade darker than the outside. The layers are skived down where they meet the fold, which is what keeps it slim once it's loaded, and edge stitching runs through the outer panels with bar-tacks at the points that take the wear.

Body: Italian bio-based vegan leather with 62–66% plant-origin renewable materials. Bio-based polyurethane surface on a viscose backing, made in Italy using water-based, solvent-free processes.
Lining: Portuguese vegan suede (100% polyurethane).
Hardware: Zamak, a durable zinc alloy.
- Construction
- Cut and closed by hand, with the panels turned and stitched rather than bonded, so the edges are finished on the inside and there's no raw cut showing. The card slots are skived down before they're set in, which is what keeps the wallet slim through the fold instead of building up thickness where the layers meet. Edge stitching runs through the outer panels to hold the fold flat over time.

My husband, who got it as a Christmas present, was first delighted by the look, then completely taken by the space it offered.
Only downside, the vehicle registration certificate for our car is too big to fit. So, if that is of concern for you, get a copy you can fold to take with you 😁

I've been trying to use cash more to give less money to all the electronic middlemen and more to the businesses I'm supporting. I wanted a wallet with less card storage and a coin pocket. So far I've been really happy with the Billfold Coin Wallet. I'm used to a smaller trifold wallet, so the extra bulk is noticeable. The coin pocket works well. It extends outward so it's easy to slide a handful in, or pick out specific coins. I also appreciate that there's no clear ID sleeve, a feature I never understood—to show ID, I need to take it out of the sleeve anyway. The clear plastic part broke out of my old wallet, turning a useless feature into a less secure card sleeve. Overall, this wallet seems well designed and well made and I'm excited to continue my cashful journey with it.
