Biker Jacket

The biker is a shape that has never really gone away, which makes it a sound choice for a slow-fashion wardrobe. Ours keeps the details that define it: the asymmetric zip running at an angle across the front, wide notched lapels that fold back with studs at the points, epaulettes at the shoulder, and a cut that stops on the hip.

It's made in Italy in vegan leather, soft in the hand with a low sheen. Panelled seaming shapes it through the body, so it sits close without pulling. It's lined in smooth viscose, which is what lets it go on over a tee, a shirt, a knit or a hoodie without dragging on any of them.

The front fastens with a single angled zip, with zipped pockets set into the front and cotton linings inside them. A press stud closes the lapel at the throat when you want it fastened up.

Wear it over a black tee with dark indigo jeans and Chelsea boots, or over a hoodie with straight denim when you want it more casual. It also goes over a knit with black jeans and derbies for something a shade sharper. It's a jacket with a strong enough character to lead, so it changes whatever you put it over rather than the other way around.
