Biker Boots

A biker boot in the engineer shape — the mid-calf shaft, the round toe, the strap and buckle over the instep, a second at the top. It's a silhouette that started in 1930s American workwear, on railroad and furnace crews who needed something they could pull on and nothing that could catch, and motorcyclists took it up after the war. That's the lineage the biker boot comes from, and this one keeps its proportions: full through the shaft, wide enough to sit over a jean rather than under it, broad and slightly blunt at the toe.

Underneath, a chunky lugged track sole with deep tread and a scuff guard running round the edge — a good part of the boot's character, giving it height and a solid footprint. The two straps are adjustable through the strap holes and closed with solid silver-tone buckles, the only brightness against so much matte black. A full-length zip runs up the inside, which the originals didn't have: it means the straps stay set where you like them and the boot still comes on and off in one movement.

The upper is Italian vegan leather made with 62–66% plant-origin materials in a soft matte finish. Inside, a Portuguese vegan suede lining and a cushioned layered insole — soft memory foam over a recycled PU base with 20% recycled content. The heel measures 3.5cm, height enough to feel underfoot without changing how you walk.

They want something narrow beside them: skinny or straight jeans tucked or cropped at the shaft, a slim dress with the boot doing the heavy lifting, a long coat over the top. Winter boots that hold their shape for years rather than a season.
