A fresh take on this classic sneaker silhouette — clean, low-cut and easy to wear all summer.
The uppers are formed from stitched panels of our Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials) with side panels in a specially made Tencel™ weave knit — a natural fibre derived from sustainably grown wood sources. Cut low so they sit below the ankles, with perforations on the toes and the breathable Tencel™ panels keeping them cool through warmer months. Hidden metal eyelets sit behind the vegan leather for a clean finish, with the long, extra-strong laces (100% recycled polyester) tipped in 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy).
Inside, Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) lines the sneakers — soft against your skin, breathable and comfortable with socks or without. Underfoot, cushioned layered insoles pair a soft memory foam top layer with a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU).
The flexible TR outsoles carry a light tread for grip, with a 3.5cm heel and 1cm toe height — a high-profile sole that gives these more cushioning underfoot than a classic flat sneaker.
They're finished with our signature embroidered WVS pull tab.
This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

- Construction
- Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
- Water Resistance
- Water-resistant for everyday wear – keeps you dry in rain, puddles, wet streets, and most winter conditions. Just avoid heavy saturation or full submersion.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes! It has been so incredibly hard to find sustainable sneakers that look like this as opposed to converse-looking or vans-looking options. As other reviews noted, they are a little bit “stiff” at first, but I still found them quite comfy, they break in quickly, and look very realistic imo. Also, I can’t BELIEVE these are compostable! That’s crazy! How do others not know about them?!?!
Einfach wundervoll!
I purchased these shoes after having a very good experience with other shoes from this brand. Unfortunately, these sneakers were the exception. Within the first week, the insole of one of the shoes was already disintegrating. They are also incredibly stiff. I have now been wearing them regurlarly for 2 months and they are still quite uncomfortable, although they are better than the first month. Now they are more bearable.

I am sorry for the condition of the outsole. As they are made from Tencel which is a natural material they will show some signs of wear faster, but this is part of the intended aging process. If you are not happy with them at please let us know we can replace them for you.

I am OBSESSED with my Munich 2 shoes! They are true to size and fit a slightly wider foot. I have been wearing these everyday with every outfit. They look great and are extremely comfy!!
Honestly love my new trainers. I invested in some boots around 5 years ago and they are still my favourites, so when my trainers needed replacing I decided to move away from my usual less ethical brands and buy from Wills again. I love them so much and they’ve been complimented so so many times. I have since bought some casual flat shoes and Chelsea boots because I can’t see any other brand being so long lasting and high quality while still being ethical and vegan friendly
