Our Notes

We love boots with big outsoles. Here is our latest addition to the collection, with a 4cm / 1.6-inch heel height (3cm / 1.2 inches at the front) and a super deep tread pattern — giving you elevated height, comfy shock absorption, a grippy tread and outsoles built to last.

The 17-eye uppers are cut to sit at the top of your calves (size 37 measures 34cm / 13.4 inches from where your foot sits to the top of the shaft). They are crafted with a beautiful, heavier-weight vegan suede with a rougher, more traditional feel than our usual vegan suede — when you run your hand over the boot, you can feel the grain and see it move with your motion.

Interior top-to-bottom metal zips mean you can pull them on and off easily, and super-soft vegan suede fully lines the inside for a luxe feel against bare skin or trousers. Deep, squishy insoles — a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) — don't crush down, making these boots comfy enough to wear all day.

They are finished with our signature WVS embroidered finger pull tabs on the backs (made from recycled polyester), a WVS emboss on the outsole and contrast tan stitching around the outsole to match the lining.

Ethics & Sustainability

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Portugal under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Upper: Italian vegan nubuck (100% PU) – one of the finest vegan suedes you can get, Ecolabel certified with a soft, luxurious feel
Lining: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) – soft and comfortable against the foot, with a breathable suede texture that helps keep feet fresh
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: Chunky lugged TR track sole – deep tread for solid grip underfoot, with the bold, stacked look that defines the style
Laces: Long, extra-strong laces (100% recycled polyester), with metal lace tips (100% zamak — a durable zinc alloy)

Construction & Features

Shank: Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
Hardware: Hidden metal eyelets sit behind the vegan leather for a clean finish, with metal lace tips — both 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy). A full top-to-bottom zip on the inside of each boot means they slip on and off easily
Construction: Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
Water Resistance: Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Care Guide

Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards.Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish.Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again.Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodoriser again.Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant.
