The "go anywhere, do anything" boot with deep-tread solid rubber outsoles. We build these to last you years.
They've been refined year after year since they were in our original 2013 lineup. Having products that aren't planned just for a season but to stay means we get the opportunity to go back to the same last, the same pattern, the same details — and keep making them better. It's how we try to make the best-quality, best-wearing vegan footwear we can.
Look at how much is going on in the upper. A stitched toe cap. A curved seam sweeping back across the quarters. Panels meeting in a long line down the side of the foot, and a fine stitch traced along the vamp. Antique metal eyelets (100% zamak) run up the lacing to three speed hooks at the top, so you can pull them tight through the foot and hook the last of it in one go. A big rear pull tab (100% recycled polyester), embroidered WVS, to haul them on. A WVS emboss on the tongue, and another set into the outsole.
Our signature Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials), with a low sheen over the toe that creases in softly as you wear them. Portuguese vegan suede linings (100% PU), comfortable against the foot and better for breathability. Long, extra-strong laces (100% recycled polyester) with metal lace tips (100% zamak). A cushioned layered insole — soft memory foam over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU). And underneath it all a hard-wearing rubber outsole (10% recycled rubber), deep lugs, a 3.5cm heel and a toe that lifts as you walk.
Four colours, four different boots really. Chestnut and tan are the warm ones — turned-up raw or mid-wash denim over the laces, an oversized knit, a chore coat, or a midi dress with thick socks rolled over the top. Dark brown goes quieter and takes olive or stone chinos, an overshirt, a waxed jacket, or a longer skirt and opaque tights. Black is the sharpest — black or indigo denim and a leather jacket, a slip skirt when you want the contrast, or grey wool trousers and an overcoat when the boot carries the weight of the outfit.
That tread grips on everything: pavements and wet cobbles, gravel, mud, park paths, trails. Rain, puddles and wet streets are no trouble.

I bought my pair back in 2019, I wear them almost every day and they still look fantastic. Had to change the laces a good few times over the years but they just last and last. At first I thought they're a bit narrow but they stretched a bit over a few weeks and after that I haven't had any problems with them, I just basically wear them everywhere and with everything.
J'adore.
In short: It was quite some journey until I finally decided to order the boots - and I am superhappy that I did!
Long version: I fell in love with the look immediately, but after reading the (few) negative reviews, I was eager to find a pair of the old model (since some reviews claimed that the old ones were more comfortable and more sturdy than the newer versions). It took several attempts, but I finally found an unused pair of an older model on an online fleamarket. However, they had the "wrong" colour, but since I had been searching for the old model for a while, I wanted to try dying them. Which didn't work sufficiently, so I finally gave in and decided to order a new model.
And what can I say? To me, the new model is much more comfortable than the old version. They are roomier and the shoe sole is thicker and with a better profile, which is important in winter. The only thing I didn't like were the shiny plastic shoelaces - but that was easily fixed.
I do prefer the look of the older model as it is more "old school" / "vintage", but since the new version has the essential advantages, I am still happy that I "had to" buy the new version. (I still keep the so-so re-coloured old ones for parties or festivals).
Of course it is too early to evaluate the long-term durability, but I am optimistic ;)
I've had these work boots for two months now and I'm totally happy! Something that might help others before buying: I first ordered the Rangers, but they were much too wide. According to the size chart, I should have ordered a EU 42 instead of a 40, but the measurements are confusing. Just order your normal size! And in the first week, I had to wear blister plasters because they rubbed so much on my heels. I thought long and hard about sending them back because I thought they were too small. But once they've been broken in, they're super comfortable and I would order them again in a heartbeat😊
Truly comfortable, looking awesome and excellent quality. I’d be happy to re purchase them anytime. Please never stop making these!
