Use these mostly indoors, with occasional walks outside. Took some time to break in the heel.
Periodically untying bootstraps are my main pain.
Very comfortable and stylish! Love the fit and look.
Great shoes: look great and feel good. I had to figure out sizing by trying out a few, but it was basically true to size.
Het is altijd een uitdaging om goedzittende nette schoenen te vinden als je brede voeten hebt en niet 2 meter lang bent - maar deze schoenen zitten uitstekend en zien er heel stijlvol uit! En dan ook nog vegan, what a treat!
So I've got several pairs of Wills shoes and they generally come out large. Across most brands I'm usually a 9 and sometimes an 8, so I ordered 8. Long story short, they were cavernous and went back. The 7s I got in exchange were still a touch big - but I imagine 6.5 would be too small.
I ordered Goodyear Welt Oxfords at the same time and found the 8s were also huge. I didn't think the shape/fit and overall quality of those was for me, so I returned them for a refund.
Customer Service is always good and things were processed quickly, but it's still a shame the sizing seemed miles out.
As for quality elsewhere, the fit and finish isn't perfect - for example see image of the side of the shoe with a loose thread and the two beige sections of rubber not aligning. What little tread/texture there is on the sole is also wearing off in spots.
The laces have also gone pretty fuzzy within 2 months of semi-regular use (maybe averaging 3 days a week). A pair of black laces were also included, but I don't really want to use black laces. I would've rather had one decent pair of laces. This is a recurring theme for me with Wills shoes, with my Dock Boot laces snapping within months.
That said, the suede material feels good and, if it's anything like the dock boots, will last pretty well and be quite easy to clean with a suede brush.
