City Brogues

A full brogue on a proper heel. Everything the classic asks for is here — the wingtip sweeping back along the quarters in a broad W, the punched medallion across the toe, and perforation tracing every seam and edge — and then the whole thing is set on a 7.5cm stacked block. That's the idea of the shoe: the vocabulary of traditional tailoring, rebuilt at a height that changes how it walks and how it reads.

The upper is Italian vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials) in black, smooth and lightly polished so the perforation reads as shadow rather than pattern. The lacing sits neat and flush — hidden metal eyelets set behind the leather, fine laces finished with metal tips in zamak, a durable zinc alloy — and the topline is cut low and open at the sides, which keeps a shoe with this much detailing from feeling heavy.

Underneath, a slim TR outsole with a compressed Tunit heel — a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound — in a classic stacked finish, the layered edge visible right up the height of the block. It's a substantial heel but a square, sensible one, set directly under you. Inside, Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) lines the shoe, over a layered insole with a soft memory-foam top on a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU).

Wear them with wide black tailoring, straight trousers with a full break, a midi dress and opaque tights, a long coat over the top. They look best when the trouser just skims the shoe and lets the heel do the work — a shoe with real character, and one that carries an outfit on its own.
