Dress Boots

A lace-up dress boot in black — a boot cut with the manners of a shoe. The toe is clean and gently almond, the vamp seamless, and the shaft rises just above the ankle so it sits under a trouser hem without bulk. What makes it work is the balance of the two panels: the polished vegan leather quarters and, set into the side, a ribbed elastic gusset that runs the height of the shaft. That's a play on texture as much as anything — matte ribbing against a smooth, lightly waxed finish — and it lets the boot close snugly around the ankle without the stiffness a fully leathered shaft would bring.

The upper is Italian vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials) with a subtle shine to it, and the lacing sits flat and unobtrusive: hidden metal eyelets set behind the leather, so all you see is the line of the lace, finished with metal tips in zamak, a durable zinc alloy. Nothing on the outside interrupts the shape.

Underneath, a slim TR outsole keeps the profile low and sharp, with a compressed Tunit heel — a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound — in a classic stacked finish, and grip built in where you need it at toe and heel. Inside, Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) lines the boot with a padded tongue at the throat, over a layered insole with a soft memory-foam top on a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU).

They're a beautiful pair of boots, and a genuinely elegant silhouette — the kind of shape that carries a certain class without asking for attention. Wear them with navy or grey tailoring, dark denim and a knit under an overcoat, or a suit on a day the weather's turned.
