A pair of Goodyear Welted boots can take up to eight weeks to make, using up to 75 boot parts and over 200 different operations to create.

The origins of this method go back over three hundred years.

The method is generally regarded throughout the worldwide boot-making industry as the best way to make superior boots.

As you wear these boots, their fit and comfort will just get better as their components mould to your foot's shape.

Goodyear Welted footwear can be re-soled by stitching the new sole to the welt extending the life of the footwear.

Cut with Italian 69% bio-based leather formed around a classic 9-eye tactical boot silhouette that hugs your legs. You can polish the uppers to keep them looking new and bring out a shine.
Solid rubber deep-tread Goodyear Welt outsoles with recycled content. Easily replaceable at good cobblers.
Long and strong recycled polyester laces. Keep them loose or lace to the top with the 3 x sets of gunmetal black lace hooks.
Large WVS embroidered recycled polyester pull tab to help pull them on.
Fully lined with tan vegan suede for comfort, air circulation and breathability.

Great look, but heel fit was a problem

The boots look great and, once broken in, they are generally comfortable. However, the heel doesn’t have enough grip, so my foot slips a bit in the back. Unfortunately, that caused some splinters on the back of my ankle. It’s disappointing, because I really wanted to love these boots! They have a lot of potential, but that heel fit issue made them difficult to wear.

So far so good

These have been my everyday/everywhere pair since I got them two months ago and they're doing great. Only took a couple wears to break in and are now surprisingly comfy. Slim pants fit over these no problem. Seeing some light fraying in one of the laces, but those are easy enough to replace if needed. I would recommend these boots without hesitation. Love that the leather is 69% bio-based instead of all plastic.

The best shoes I've worn (yet)

Bought this pair to replace dying Dr Martens' 1460 boots which clearly didn't hold up to the brand's alleged standards. I tried to find a more durable and ethical option, and stumbled across these beauties. My order was processed on the 4th of July, and I got them today, the 7th, so that was really quick.

The hardest part was putting them on for the first time: the laces were tied really tight and the materials were a bit stiff at first. But once you have them on, they're perfect. After wearing them for the whole afternoon, doing daily tasks, resting and going for a walk, I have yet to feel any kind of pain or discomfort.

Style wise, they're really great and versatile. Everything is black, and the vegan leather equivalent has a shiny, smooth finish, hitting the right spot between completely matte and overly glossy.They look classic yet modern, and can be worn with basically anything.

These shoes are sold to last, and I sure hope they will. It's been one day and I am in love already. And when the day of their inevitable end will come, I'll be sure to buy another pair here.
