A puffer built to keep you warm and dry through winter, with a high funnel collar that stands up against the wind when the zip is closed. It's cut hip-length in black with a matt finish and just a little sheen, and it feels substantial in the hand — a jacket you can wear hard without worrying about snags.
Everything apart from the labels and zip is made from recycled materials. Inside, the padding is 100% recycled polyamide (RPA) produced in Italy, quilted in wide panels through the body and sleeves. The outer is Eco Circle™ Fiber, a 100% recycled polyester (rPET) made through the Eco Circle™ recycling system, which uses around 50% less energy and produces around 50% fewer carbon dioxide emissions than polyester made by conventional technology. It's water resistant, so light showers and snow sit on the surface rather than soaking in.
The collar is lined and comes up over the chin, and the zip runs the full length of the front. Two zipped pockets sit at the hip, the cuffs draw in with elastic at the wrist, and the jacket is finished with cotton WVS labelling and an embroidered cotton hang loop.
Wear it over a heavy knit with straight jeans and boots, or over tailored trousers and loafers when you want the shape a little sharper. It also goes over leggings and trainers for the days you're just getting from A to B. It's a jacket that does the work quietly, so whatever you put under it leads.
